Dominium Domains · Effective July 16, 2026 · Amended July 24, 2026. Briefs submitted before the amendment are governed by the prior terms, per Section 15.
The Forge is a custom brand naming service.
You submit a brief describing what you're building. Our protocol generates and screens candidate names, our team chooses the strongest, secures its .com, and delivers it to you as a complete Forge deck, together with the four runner-up candidates shown in full. You may keep our chosen name, or take any of the four alternates instead for the swap fee in Section 2.
The Forge also works from a name you already have: we forge variations and alignments of it onto a domain we can actually secure. What we do not offer is acquisition of domains owned by third parties. If the exact domain you want is owned by someone else, we are not the service for that today.
You must be 18 or older to submit a brief.
$59.95. One price. Includes:
Add-ons, optional, after delivery:
Credit toward the Packet. Every fee you pay for the Forge and its add-ons is credited, dollar for dollar, toward the Brand Identity Packet (Section 16) if you upgrade.
Prices shown exclude sales tax. Applicable sales tax is calculated by your location and added at checkout. All fees in USD, processed through Stripe. Fees are payable at submission and are earned when the shortlist is delivered.
Your chosen name and its complete Forge deck within 72 hours of a complete brief. The four alternates arrive alongside it, each with a rationale.
Scope is one pass, in writing. The recommendation is our opinion, delivered once. We don't do calls, revision rounds on the recommendation, or ongoing consultation at this price. If you want a second shortlist, that's the $39.95 re-forge.
You still decide. Our choice is our best judgment, argued in writing, and it is what the price buys. If your ear disagrees, tell us within 24 hours of delivery and any of the four alternates is yours instead for the $24.99 swap fee, on the terms in Section 5. We're a set of eyes, not a veto.
Every name we deliver is checked for:
What this is not:
This is a preliminary screen, not a trademark clearance opinion, and not legal advice. It is designed to catch obvious collisions before you fall in love with a name. It does not cover common-law rights, state registrations, foreign registrations, applications not yet surfaced in public records, or a formal likelihood-of-confusion analysis. It is a snapshot: it reflects what was findable on the day we ran it and says nothing about the day after. We do not monitor after delivery. Where we mention an existing business or mark, we are stating a fact, not an opinion; the absence of a mention is not an assurance that nothing exists. Before you use any name commercially, have a trademark attorney clear it for your specific use. That obligation is yours. We are not attorneys and nothing we deliver substitutes for counsel.
Language screening covers English and Spanish only. If your customers speak other languages, tell us in the brief and we'll do what we reasonably can, but we make no representation about meaning, connotation, or unfortunate homophony in languages outside English and Spanish.
Remedy. If a delivered name is unavailable at delivery, contains a direct USPTO hit we missed, or has an obvious adverse meaning in English or Spanish, tell us within 7 days and we'll forge again at no charge. One free re-forge per brief. This is your sole remedy for a screening failure.
Dominium may register any candidate name generated for your brief, in Dominium's own name, before your shortlist is delivered to you. Assume this applies to some or all of your five.
Why. Availability lookups leak. Query a name at a registrar or a WHOIS service and automated systems can register it within seconds. We have lost names this way. If we showed you five unregistered names and you took a day to think, some of them would be gone. So the name we recommend to you is always secured before you see it. The four alternates are handled case by case: we may register one or two of them at the moment we run them, or none at all, judged on their own merits and never in order to hold anything over you.
The guarantees:
a) One price, always. Your chosen name is yours at $59.95. Any alternate Dominium holds is yours at the stated swap or second-domain fee. Any alternate Dominium does not hold, we will attempt to secure at your request at that same fee; if someone else has reached it first you owe nothing, and we will forge you a fresh candidate in that name's direction at no charge within one business day. Dominium will not raise, tier, or vary those prices on the basis of our holding a name. Unconditional.
b) Your window. Tell us within 24 hours of delivery that you want an alternate and we will act on it. Separately, for 7 calendar days from delivery we will not sell, list, transfer, or otherwise dispose of any held name on your shortlist to anyone but you.
c) After. Unclaimed names may be retained in the Dominium catalogue, listed for sale, or allowed to lapse, at our discretion. This is disclosed, deliberate, and it is why the price is $59.95 rather than several hundred. Names we did not register go back to the open market and we make no representation about their continued availability.
d) No leverage. We will not register a name in order to prevent you from having it, and we will not use a hold as a bargaining position. If you claim a held name in the window, it transfers at the stated price.
On claim, the domain transfers to a registrar account you designate, with you as registrant. First year covered. Renewal after that is yours.
How the handoff works. Dominium registers Forge names at a major ICANN-accredited registrar (currently Namecheap or Porkbun; your deck states which). On claim, we push the domain directly into a Namecheap account in your name. The push is free, takes effect almost immediately, doesn't touch DNS, and is not subject to the 60-day transfer lock. If you don't have a Namecheap account, you don't need one in advance. We send an invitation and you create the account as part of accepting the domain.
The 60-day lock, explained. ICANN rules prevent a domain from moving between different registrars for 60 days after registration. That rule does not apply to the push described above, so it does not delay your ownership. It does mean that if you want the domain at a registrar other than Namecheap, you'll need to wait until day 60 from our original registration date to move it. We'll tell you that date when you claim. Your control, DNS, and ownership are unaffected in the meantime.
Ownership is outright. No license, no revenue share, no reversion.
You must be 18 or older. The Forge is not available to minors. If we learn a brief came from someone under 18, we'll void it and refund in full.
Your business must be lawful where you operate it. We don't screen your industry and we don't ask you to justify it. We do decline briefs for anything unlawful on its face.
We won't register a name that reads as a near-miss on a well-known mark. During the hold period the registrant is Dominium, which makes a cybersquatting claim our problem, not yours. If your brief points that direction we'll tell you and forge elsewhere.
We don't forge for anyone in an active trademark dispute over the concept being named.
We may decline any brief at our discretion. If we decline before delivery, you get a full refund. We don't maintain a public list of excluded categories, because the judgment is case by case.
We don't promise you'll like the names. We don't promise a name is legally clear. We don't promise any unheld candidate stays available past delivery. We don't promise search rankings, traffic, brand outcomes, or business results.
If we fail to deliver a shortlist within 10 days of a complete brief, request a refund and you'll get it in full.
The Forge Guarantee. The five names are the work, and that work is rendered when the shortlist is delivered. If nothing in your five is worth choosing, tell us within 7 days of delivery and elect one of two remedies. The election is final, and electing one extinguishes the other.
(i) A second forge, $39.95, against a sharpened brief you supply. On a second forge we deliver five candidates and register none of them until you choose. Electing this ends any right to a refund.
(ii) A refund of $39.95. Dominium retains $20.00, being the registration already spent on your behalf together with $9.00 for compute and human review, and retains the registered domain. Electing this ends the forging.
One refund per client. The 7-day window runs from first delivery and does not restart on a re-forge. Beyond a second forge, further runs are available at $24.99 each, with no refund attached. Screening failures are separately remedied by re-forge under Section 4.
If we fail to transfer a name you have claimed and Dominium holds, you get the full $59.95 back. An alternate we do not hold is governed by Section 5(a) instead.
What a refund means. A refund returns your money and returns our work. If we refund you: you acquire no rights in any name, logo, or material we delivered; every candidate and its domain remains Dominium's property; and for twelve months from the refund you agree not to use any delivered candidate name, or a confusingly similar variant of one, as a name for any business, product, or domain in any extension. If you do, you agree the refund becomes repayable, plus a fee equal to the Forge price, as a reasonable estimate of the value received. This paragraph is the plain-English version of the deal: you can keep the money or keep the work, not both.
Unless your fee was refunded (Section 9), logo directions and name rationales are yours to use, for claimed and unclaimed names alike. They're concepts, not production files, and they come without warranty of originality against third-party marks. We retain no rights in them.
We use modern tools, including artificial intelligence, in our creative process. Every deliverable is co-created: directed, curated, and refined by human judgment using systems we built. On full payment, we assign to you all right, title, and interest we hold in your deliverables. The AI tools we use contractually assign their outputs to their users, so no third party acquires rights in your materials through our process.
Under current U.S. law, purely machine-generated elements may not qualify for copyright registration. Brand assets such as names and logos are customarily protected through trademark use and registration, which remains your responsibility.
Nothing we deliver or publish is legal, financial, investment, tax, or other professional advice. Names, valuations, rationales, and market observations are creative and informational work product. Domains and brands carry no promised value, and a past sale of any domain is not a promise of future value. For legal, financial, or tax decisions, consult a licensed professional.
Domain names are intangible digital assets in a speculative and shifting market. Our full digital asset risk disclosure is in the site Terms, Section 9A, and it applies here too.
Our total liability arising from the Forge is capped at the fees you paid. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including lost profits, rebranding costs, or trademark litigation.
Governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County, California.
$349, optional. The Packet is the full launch treatment of your chosen name, built after your name is confirmed. It includes: the full logo family; taglines and a slogan set; a jingle; the Creative Playbook; the Machine-Readable Brand Kit (structured data and related files for automated agents); the Resolution Report (a logged reading of how search engines and AI systems currently resolve your name, delivered within two business days of your name being confirmed); a one-page launch website delivered as files for you to deploy; the Defensive Perimeter Map (variant and adjacent domains with live availability and costs, informational only); brand email forwarding at your new domain (aliases forwarding to an inbox you designate; a full mailbox service is yours to set up); a social handle availability sweep with a preparation kit; and the AssetTitle record of the forging.
Credits. Every fee you have paid for the Forge and its add-ons on the same brief is credited toward the Packet price. Packet buyers may select any name from their five at no swap fee.
What the Packet is not. We do not create social media or platform accounts on your behalf, and we do not accept or transfer accounts: platform terms require accounts to be created by their owner, and we prepare everything around that step instead. Availability of any handle or domain is as of our check and can change at any time. The Resolution Report and Perimeter Map are informational readings, not legal advice, monitoring, or a promise of any ranking, visibility, or business outcome; Sections 4, 12, and 13 apply to the Packet in full.
We may amend these terms. Amendments apply only to briefs submitted after they're posted. Your brief is governed by the terms in effect the day you submitted it.
